Procurement Contract Manager (Finance)

What you’ll do Procurement at JetBrains exists to help teams get what they need to build great software without unnecessary delays. As our procurement footprint grows, we need dedicated ownership to manage low-to-medium risk supplier contracts independently using approved templates and playbooks. In this role, you’ll establish and refine our procurement contracting workflows, contract lifecycle management (CLM) governance, and template standards. You’ll sit right at the center of commercial operations, partnering with internal teams to keep agreements moving forward. You'll work independently within your delegated authority, knowing exactly when to resolve commercial terms yourself and when to bring in the Legal team for high-risk scenarios. Day to day, you will: Manage the full lifecycle of low-to-medium risk supplier contracts, from drafting and reviewing to execution, renewals, and terminations. Standardize contract templates, fallback clauses, and negotiation playbooks. Guide business stakeholders on commercial terms and procurement standards. Maintain contract records and track milestones, renewal dates, and performance metrics in our CLM and S2P systems. Partner with suppliers and internal teams to resolve contractual questions and monitor service level compliance. Work closely with Legal, Finance, Tax, Information Security, and Privacy teams to align agreements with risk and compliance standards. Refine procurement processes, governance, and system reporting to reduce contract cycle times. What you’ll bring A focus on removing friction and making process execution seamless for everyone involved. Good judgment to balance speed with risk mitigation, knowing when to decide and when to escalate. A clear, pragmatic communication style that builds trust across business and legal teams. Strong organizational habits and the ability to manage multiple contract flows at once. Care for operational details, ensuring accuracy in commercial terms and contract records. An ownership mindset, taking responsibility for contract outcomes from start to finish. What you’ll need Hands-on experience managing and negotiating low-to-medium risk supplier contracts across categories like technology, software, and professional services. A practical understanding of commercial contract terms and procurement fundamentals. A proven track record of using standard templates and negotiation playbooks to independently finalize agreements. Direct experience operating and maintaining procurement or CLM platforms (such as Coupa, Leah, or NetSuite). Experience shaping or improving procurement contracting templates, playbooks, or governance processes. Fluent English communication skills to collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
