As an Application Manager at PwC, you'll support a broad range of business-critical applications and platforms. Together, we make sure that the applications our colleagues rely on every day run smoothly, securely, and reliably. In this role, you'll support and optimize a variety of business applications and platforms, ensuring high availability and a seamless experience for users across the firm. You'll work in an agile setting, closely with business stakeholders, developers, and other IT teams to keep our application landscape future-proof. Your concrete responsibilities include: Providing second-line support: troubleshooting incidents and resolving technical or functional issues efficiently; Supporting cloud-based platforms such as Azure and contributing to stable, secure, and scalable application environments; Assisting with data-related platforms and solutions, including data analytics environments and Databricks; Helping safeguard IT security by following best practices, monitoring risks, and supporting secure application operations; Maintaining documentation, sharing knowledge, and contributing to continuous improvement and innovation across the support landscape. You recognize yourself in this You combine strong analytical skills with a customer-oriented mindset. You communicate clearly, take initiative, and enjoy working both independently and as part of a team. Furthermore, you bring: An HBO level of thinking and working; Experience in IT application support, service desk, or a similar technical support role; Knowledge of business applications, incident management, and problem-solving processes; Familiarity with SQL, databases, Windows environments, or enterprise applications; A proactive attitude, eagerness to learn, and commitment to delivering quality support.
