Job Title Manager Financial Crime Compliance Group & DRB Job Description Shape Rabobank's global response to financial crime and influence the regulatory agenda. Lead the independent oversight of Financial Economic Crime risks across Rabobank, while helping shape industry-wide policy discussions with regulators, supervisory authorities and the banking sector. You & your role As Manager Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) Group & DRB, you will hold one of the most influential Financial Crime Compliance leadership positions within Rabobank. Acting as the designated AML, CTF & Sanctions Officer for Domestic Retail Banking (DRB), you provide independent oversight, challenge and advice on material financial crime risks across the bank. You operate within the second line of responsibility and ensure Rabobank continues to meet its obligations as a gatekeeper in the financial system. You lead teams responsible for Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) Reporting, Financial Crime Policy, Advisory activities and Fraud Risk Management. You oversee the effectiveness of the FCC framework, challenge senior stakeholders on risk-based decision-making and provide strategic guidance on complex financial crime matters. Working at the intersection of banking, regulation and public interest, you engage directly with senior executives, regulators, supervisory authorities and industry bodies. You will contribute to the future development of Financial Economic Crime and Fraud policies across Rabobank while influencing the regulatory agenda within the Dutch banking sector. Examples from practice Advising senior management on highly complex financial crime risk cases and determining whether escalation to executive management or regulators is required. Leading policy development following new European or international AML, CTF, sanctions and ABCregulations and ensuring consistent implementation across Rabobank. Representing Rabobank in discussions with regulators, industry associations and governmental stakeholders regarding future financial crime legislation and risk management practices. Facts & figures 40 hours per week Leadership responsibility for approximately 78 FTE Member of the FCC Management Team Member of the broader Compliance Management Team Contributing to oversight of a first-line FEC organization with a budget exceeding EUR 642 million Operating within one of the largest anti-financial crime organizations in the Dutch financial sector, where approximately 12% of Rabobank employees work within anti-financial crime activities. Top 3 responsibilities 1. Lead Financial Crime Compliance oversight and policy You are accountable for the oversight of AML, CTF, sanctions, ABC and fraud-related risks within Group & DRB. You lead policy development, challenge complex business decisions, provide binding advice where required and ensure regulatory requirements are effectively translated into sustainable controls and practices. 2. Drive regulatory engagement and industry influence You act as a strategic liaison between Rabobank, regulators, supervisory authorities and industry bodies. You help shape the regulatory agenda and represent Rabobank in discussions concerning financial crime risk management, safeguarding both regulatory compliance and the bank's strategic interests. 3. Lead and develop a high-performing FCC organization You lead a multidisciplinary team of professionals responsible for policy, advisory activities, FIU reporting and fraud risk management. You foster a culture of integrity, accountability and continuous improvement while ensuring the highest standards of professional excellence.
