Position

Title: AI Technician (Assembly & Integration)
Hours: 40 hours per week
Location: Oestgeest area

Role overview

You will be responsible for manufacturing hardware, test setups and Ground Support Equipment, and for carrying out modifications. Work ranges from complex one-off components to small and medium-sized production series. You report to the Team Leader of Assembly & Integration.

Key responsibilities

• CNC and conventional machining operations (turning, milling)
• Perform technical work on existing and new hardware according to drawings, manuals and material specifications
• Operate and program 3D printers for production of tooling solutions
• Develop alternative solutions for technical challenges, propose and implement improvements
• Advise on manufacturability and lead times
• Inspect quality of new and modified products, including use of a CMM
• Create mechanical assemblies using bonding, welding, soldering, torquing, etc.
• Inspect and sign off on own work and completed products/procedures
• Coordinate with workshop coordinator and work preparation team on machine planning and workload distribution
• Manage required materials and tooling and maintain workshop inventory
• Perform maintenance on machines and ensure workshop cleanliness

Requirements

• MBO degree (preferably LIS)
• 2–4+ years of experience as a Mechanical Workshop Technician in a precision mechanical workshop
• Experience with CNC milling and/or turning is an advantage
• Knowledge of CAD/CAM programming, preferably OneCNC
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and Dutch (verbal and written)
• Availability for 40 hours per week
